ACFTA Business Portal (Upgrade Version) Officially Opening

On July 4, 2016, ASEAN-China Free Trade Area Business Portal (ACFTA upgrade version) officially launched, vice governor of Yunnan province Liu Huiyan, deputy secretary general of the people's government of yunnan province Li Jiming attended the opening ceremony. Department of commerce of Yunnan province Director He Lianghui comprehensively introduces construction situation of ACFTA Business Portal (updated version). The Office of Department of Commerce in Kunming, the general administration of customs, The National School of administration, China electronic port data center, China customs clearance and other experts to participate in the opening ceremony.

ACFTA Business Portal is the only official website.This is the result of strongly appealed by ASEAN countries’ business circle and actively sought out by Yunnan province in the process of ACFTA construction. In January 2010, ACFTA built the celebration ceremony, the first edition website synchronous start online, after that, the Yunnan province as the only province in the national joint committee to participate in FTA, actively promote the website construction, provides a comprehensive, authoritative, timely information for China and ASEAN countries of the FTA, has been very popular .

On November 22, 2015, the minister of China's commerce Gao Hucheng and ASEAN countries officially minister signed the protocol negotiations between China and ASEAN FTA in Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur, the agreement covering trade in goods, services, investment and economic cooperation and other fields, it also has made important breakthroughs in cross-border E-commerce, trade facilitation, service trade and so on. The commerce of Yunnan province insist to focusing on services and applications, immediately launched the "ACFTA business portal upgrade project", develop the building for trade in goods, services, investment and economic cooperation such four official agreement information column, added single window, certificate of origin, tariff concession query and liberalization commitments query on trade in services and so on a number of trade facilitation systems, building a new cross-border E-commerce platform.

The opening of ACFTA Business Portal (Upgrade Version) promotes cooperation between China and South Asia and Southeast Asia, the province played a positive role in promoting the development of open economy. First,accelerated in active service and integrated into the national strategy of "the Belt and Road" and the pace of the construction for South Asia, Southeast Asia radiation center. Second, it is to build the network and data center for the association of south-east Asian nations (ASEAN) in our country, highlighting the strategic position of Yunnan in China's opening-up strategy. Third, it is to reflect the irreplaceability of Yunnan province in cooperation with ASEAN, make cross-border E-commerce of Yunnan development new heights for the association of Southeast Asian nations (ASEAN).

Yunnan province and ASEAN have infinite cooperation opportunity. Yunnan provincial department of commerce will continue to enhance responsibility and mission of the open economy development in the next step, to strengthen joint committee of China - ASEAN FTA, provincial departments and central in Yunnan units cooperation, increase the ACFTA business portal application promotion.
The first, we will further improve the business portal functions and services, let more companies and people to share the dividends of information platform construction ; Second, improving the ability of enterprise to develop the international market as the key point, launched a "ACFTA Business Partner Initiative" and "SMEs Cross Border E-commerce Development Initiative", together with the domestic and overseas relevant institutions and enterprises to develop China-ASEAN regional electronic single window platform, to build China-ASEAN trade and investment service network, help small and medium enterprises to open up the ASEAN market; The third is solve talents restricts, set up the Committee of Experts on China-ASEAN cross-border e-commerce which members come from the domestic well-known trade facilitation and e-commerce experts, to provide intellectual support for the informatization construction of the China-ASEAN FTA and cross-border e-commerce development, and positive service FTA construction and the economic and social development in Yunnan province.
