Chinese-ASEAN FTA Joint Committee Meeting Held in Jakarta, Indonesia

The Tenth Chinese-ASEAN FTA Joint Committee Meeting held in Jakarta, Indonesia, May 2016 11-13. The Chinese delegation, the delegation of the ASEAN countries and the ASEAN Secretariat of nearly a hundred person attend the meeting. The two sides exchanged in-depth views on the promotion and implementation of the "Protocol to Amend the Framework Agreement on Comprehensive Economic Co-operation and Certain Agreements thereunder between the Association of Southeast Asian Nations(ASEAN) and the People's Republic of China", and discussed the implementation situation and future work plan of China ASEAN FTA. Working Groups on ROO, SPS, ETC and STRACAP meetings and bilateral discussion on Trade in Services.
