According to the monitoring of MOFCOM, the prices of farm produce in 36 large and medium-sized cities continued to drop, and the prices of production means in circulation picked up last week (June 6-12).
The average price of 30 kinds of vegetable was down 2.7% compared with that of the previous week, with those of potato, carrot and wax gourd down 13.8%, 12.1% and 11.5% respectively. The average price of 6 kinds of fruits was down 0.5% week on week. The average price of aquatic product was down 0.2% week on week, with those of carp, grass carp and small yellow croaker down 3.3%, 1.3% and 0.4% respectively. The price of grain fell slightly, with that of rice down 0.4% compared with that of the previous week and that of flour remained steady. The price of edible oil decreased a little, with those of rapeseed oil and peanut oil down 0.3% and 0.2% respectively, and that of soybean oil remaining the same. The price of meat fluctuated slightly, with that of pork down 0.4% week on week, that of beef up 0.1% and that of mutton remaining the same. The prices of poultry and eggs fluctuated, with those of eggs and chicken down 0.5% and 0.3% respectively, and that of duck up 2.1%. The wholesale price of refined oil was up 1.4% compared with that of the previous week, with those of diesel oil and gasoline up 1.6% and 1.2% respectively. The price of steel remained the same as that of the previous week, terminating the five-week decrease. Among these, the price of deformed steel and high speed wire rod were up 0.6% and 0.5% respectively and those of hot rolled strip and common round steel down 0.4% and 0.1% respectively. The price of coal remained steady, with that of coking coal up 0.2%, blind coal down 0.3% and steamed coal remaining the same. The price of chemical fertilizer was down 0.3%, with those of urea and DAP down 0.4% and 0.3% respectively, while those of kalium chloratum and NPK remaining stable. The price of basic chemical raw materials was down 0.3%, with those of purified petroleum benzine, sulfuric acid, caustic soda and sodium carbonate down 1%, 0.5%, 0.2% and 0.2% respectively, and that of methyl alcohol up 0.1%. The price of nonferrous metal was down 0.3%, with those of aluminum and lead down 1.6% and 0.3%, while those of nickel, tin, copper and zinc up 1.7%, 0.7%, 0.5% and 0.3% respectively. The price of rubber was down 0.5%, with that of synthetic rubber down 1.4% and that of natural rubber up 0.2%. |
