Prices of Farm Produce Drop Slightly and Prices of Production Means Remain Stable

According to the monitoring of MOFCOM, the price index of farm produce dropped 0.7% compared with the previous week, and the price index of production means in circulation remained the same as the previous week (June 20-26).

The average price of 30 kinds of vegetables decreased 1.7% compared with the previous week. Among these, the prices of potato, carrot and pepper dropped 9.9%, 7% and 6.3% respectively. The prices of poultry and eggs continued to decrease, with the prices of eggs and chicken down 1.7% and 0.6% respectively and that of duck the same as the previous week. The price of edible oil went down slightly, with the prices of soybean oil, rapeseed oil and peanut oil dropping 0.3%, 0.1% and 0.1% respectively compared with the previous week. The price of grain remained stable as a whole with the price of rice the same as the previous week and that of flour fell 0.3%. The average price of 6 kinds of fruits decreased 0.2% compared with the previous week. The price of meet fluctuated, with the price of pork down 1% compared with the previous week, beef up 0.1% and mutton down 0.1%. The average price of aquatic product increased 0.7% compared with the previous week, with those of little yellow croaker, carp and big yellow croaker up 2.3%, 2.3% and 1.9% respectively.

The prices of nonferrous metals went up 1.6% compared with the previous week, with those of aluminum, copper, nickel and zinc up 3%, 1.2%, 1.2% and 0.8% respectively, that of tin down 0.1% and that of lead the same as the previous week. The price of rubber increased 0.4%, with those of synthetic rubber and natural rubber up 0.8% and 0.2% respectively. The price of coal rose 0.1%, with those of steam coal up 0.2%, blind coal and coking coal the same as the previous week. The prices of chemical fertilizer dropped 0.4%, with those of urea, DAP, KCL and NPK down 0.5%, 0.3%, 0.2% and 0.2% respectively. The price of steel went down 0.5%, with those of hot-rolled steel, high-speed wire rod and deformed steel bar down 0.7%, 0.6% and 0.6% respectively. The prices of basic chemical raw materials went down 0.5%, with those of caustic soda, sulfuric acid, sodium carbonate and methyl alcohol down 0.7%, 0.5%, 0.5% and 0.4% respectively and that of pure benzene up 0.2%.
