By:MOFCOM   Update:2021-11-03
On November 1, Chinese Minister of Commerce Wang Wentao sent a letter to New Zealand's Minister of Trade and Export Growth, Damien O'Connor, to officially apply to New Zealand, the depositor of the Digital Economy Partnership Agreement (DEPA), to join DEPA. Joining DEPA is in line with China's plan to deepen domestic reforms and pursue high-level opening-up, and will help China strengthen cooperation on digital economy, innovation and sustainable development with members in the new development paradigm. In the next step, China will carry out follow-up work with members in accordance with the relevant procedures of DEPA.
