China's largest land port sees rise in China-Europe freight train trips since 2023

From January to March 14, a total of 924 China-Europe freight trains and 97,828 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) of goods were handled at the Chinese land port of Manzhouli in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, registering a year-on-year increase of 8.2 percent and 19.8 percent respectively.
 
As the largest land port in China and an important port for China-Europe freight trains located on the China-Russia border, Manzhouli saw the passenger transport growing steadily since the resumption of passenger customs clearance in January 8, 2023.
