Chinese, Myanmar officials exchange views on friendship

Friendship association leaders of China and Myanmar have met in Yangon to discuss issues about enhancing friendly relations between the two countries.

U Sein Win Aung, chairman of Myanmar-China Friendship Association and Xie Yuan, vice chairman of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC) on Monday exchanged views on sending Myanmar students to China under a scholarship program.

The two sides also talked about the cooperation between the friendship associations of the two countries.

Xie and his entourage also had discussions with Speaker of Yangon Regional Assembly U Tin Maung Tun earlier in the day.
